Gillman Heights' majority owners were given the green light to proceed with their en-bloc sale. The owner of 32H Nassim Road has been ordered by the Singapore District Court to pay the commission of $382,500 to the property agent for securing the sale of the property for $25.5 million. The owner, Mdm Lam Cheng Yee, had claimed that she was entitled to cancel the payment to Ms Cindy Wong of Areco International who clinched the sale, as it was revealed after sale that the buyer was her neighbour at 32K Nassim Road. Mdm Lam argued that had she knew the buyer was her neighbour, she would have got a better price, as generally an adjoining property will command a premium.

Ten foreign workers came down with chickenpox at their dormitory at 468 Tagore Industrial Avenue. The 10 Bangladeshi men aged between 20 and 35 are recovering at the Communicable Disease Centre (CDC) at Jalan Tan Tock Seng, off Moulmein Road. Earlier, another worker was found dead at the dormitory. Reportedly, the dead worker was down with chickenpox for about 6 days.
