The Dairy Farm Nature Park, adjacent to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, was recently opened.  While many hikers and nature enthusiasts already know this area well, the Dairy Farm Nature Park has spruced up the area with new nature trails incorporating informative signages and educational signboards presenting to visitors a truly learning experience.

One of the key attraction is the Wallace Education Centre, housed in a renovated cowshed, a relic from the former dairy which existed here. The centre is home to the Wallace Environmental Learning Lab (WELL), which offers holistic programmes to primary and secondary school students, allowing them to discover Singapore's natural heritage through interesting hands-on activities.

This 63-heacare nature park is indeed a boon to nature lovers. It not only provide an alternative to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, it acts an important green buffer by reducing visitorship pressure.
