Go-karters can soon race at Kartright Speedway due to open on October 1, located at the Arena Country Club in Upper Jurong Road.

The new race track is the brainchild of avid go-karters, Jude Benny, Allan Teo and Kevin Kwee. With the opening of the $2 million track, the public can race in go-karts at $30 per 10 minutes slots. Select slots will be reserved for competitive karters.

Until the planned Changi track is built in 2011, Kartright Speedway will be the only permanent go-kart race track in Singapore.
