An outbreak of food poisoning at Geylang Serai market has since claimed the life of one person. Mdm Samijo, 57 year old, died at Changi General Hospital on Monday, April 6. While another woman, Mdm Samat, 38 year old, suffered a miscarriage. The outbreak has been traced to Stall 320, also known as Rojak Geylang Serai. The stall is now closed and the Ministry of Health's investigation is on going.
