The body was that of Indonesian maid Ruliwayati, who worked for a family living on the 6th floor of the block. A Bangladeshi maintenance worker is alleged to have murdered her and dumped her body in the tank. The PUB has since flushed, washed and sterilized all the affected tanks. Water supply to the block has been restored. PUB reassured residents that the water is now safe for consumption.
