The former Queenstown Remand Prison at Margeret Drive, closed more than 5 months ago. However, on 22 January 2010, it was the venue for the launch of cK Calvin Klein's Spring 2010 collection in singapore.
A one-off event at the venue, it's in line with the Government's plan to give a new lease of life to former government buildings.
Future possible use of the former Queenstown Remand Prison would be to turn it into an art exhibition centre.ge through interesting hands-on activities.

The Central Nature Reserve is the only remaining forested area in Singapore. This protected reserve comprises mainly of secondary and some patches of primary forests. Besides the well maintained walking trails of MacRitchie and Bukit Timah, there are also lesser trodden trails in the forest between Seletar and Peirce Reservoirs. Used by trekkers and the army on 'topo matches', the trails are kept fairly open.
